Before your visit, please complete the online intake form so I can get a full picture of your health. During your appointment we will talk through your concerns, review your intake, and create a treatment plan that fits your goals and your lifestyle. Everything is tailored to you.
-
Most people are surprised by how gentle it feels. The needles are tiny, sterile, and single use. You may notice a warm or heavy sensation, but it should never feel sharp or intense. If you feel nervous, I will walk you through each step so you feel supported.
-
Every body responds differently. Some people notice changes quickly, while others benefit from a longer course of care. A typical treatment plan is eight to twelve sessions, but we will adjust based on your needs and how you progress.
-
Some patients feel relief after the first session. Others notice gradual improvement over several visits. It is also normal to feel tired or emotional for a short time afterward. This usually passes quickly and is part of your body shifting back into balance.
-
Eat a light meal within two hours of your appointment and wear loose, comfortable clothing so I can easily reach the areas we need to treat.
Investment
-
We do not bill insurance directly, but we can give you a superbill that includes everything your insurance company should need to process a claim. Also, some patients utilize an FSA or HSA account for services; double-check whether yours can be used for acupuncture.
-
I truly believe medicine should be accessible, so I have tried to price treatments at a rate that is affordable while still allowing me to keep the doors open.
That said, I do offer students and teachers 10% off services.
I also offer three and seven session packages at a reduced rate for anyone who wants consistent care. Since packages are already reduced, additional discounts do not apply.
-
Life happens! If you cancel an appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, there is no penalty. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the session fee. No-shows are charged the full session fee. This protects appointment availability for everyone. If you are unsure that you can make your scheduled appointment, cancel ahead of time and check again later for any same day openings.
-
Packages expire one year from the date of purchase, but the cash value never goes away. You can always use the remaining credit toward a new package or a single session. But please keep in mind that the intention of offering packages is for you to complete your customized treatment plan and experience the full health benefit.

Of course. Your care is always your choice. Herbal medicine can help speed up the healing process and support internal balance, but it is not required. If herbs become a good fit for your treatment plan, I will explain everything and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward.

Depending on your specific issue or goal, I may recommend herbs to enhance your treatment. The recommendation is included in your session fee, but the actual herbs will be billed separately.

Yes! Finding a space that was ADA compliant was important to me. My clinic is on the ground floor and the office park has accessible parking spaces.
